Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a land of meadows, hills and valleys, all of it covered with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this lovely land. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. There, the old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole once more. They play all day with each other, content and comfortable.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with the special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! Then, the nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! You have been seen, and that one suddenly runs from the group!
You take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusing pet.
Then, together, you cross the Rainbow Bridge, never again to be separated.

Laurie Phillip's Norma Sue Not Doing Well (3/29/10)
Norma has been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. She is realy weak, pants alot and with too much activity she passes out. When she comes threw she's back to normal. The vet has put her on meds to relive her of the fluids that are build up around her hear. She is on a strick diet and excersise. He says she could be with us for 2 weeks to 2 years....She's a little fighter.
Update 4-1-10 In the coming kingdom, "The wolf and the lamb will feed together." (Is 65:25). Lambs were actually household pets in biblical days. (see 2Sa 12:3). The Bible says our pets belong to God; we take care of them for him. God says: "All the animals are mine" (Ps 12:10).Furthermore, God holds us accountable for how we treat our pets. (Pr 12:10). When Adam was created, God surrounded him with animals and call it "very good". When Noah stepped out of the ark to start the world all over again, God made sure that he was surrounded with animals. The Garden of Eden was perfect but, without animals it wouldn’t have been Eden.
Norma Sue crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning, after a short fight with Congestive Heart Failure. She will be missed.

Dolittle's Man Ike Crosses the Rainbow Bridge (12-13-09)
Sunday, the 13th of December, my sweet boy, Dolittle's Man Ike crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was 3 days shy of his 16th birthday. Ike was my first JRT, exactly ten inches with prick ears. He was very special-- excelled in obedience, agility and GTG. Because of this little guy and his love and willingness to do whatever I asked of him, he created my love for JRTs.
He will live forever in our hearts and will be missed by his buddies, Cowboy and Diva, whom he taught manners to. He was the pack leader. Cowboy is now trying to assume that role.
Please keep Ike and our whole family in your prayers. Christmas will not be the same this year.
God Bless, Mary & Hugh Hilty, Cowboy, Diva, and a little rescue mutt named Kelsey.

Taco Bill...
? - 10/17/08
Taco was a true rags to riches story. He was found in the parking lot of the local feed store in Warrenton, Virginia in July of 2000.A friend wanted a family dog and I gave Taco to him with the understanding that if it didn't work out, he would let me know.In September 2000 Taco was returned to me on a Friday and the next day we went to Diana Hufnagel's trial in Maryland. The next eight years were sheer joy for him. There was nothing Taco enjoyed more than going to terrier trials. From the moment he saw me gathering the equipment and packing the car he was raring to go.I am convinced that more people knew Taco than knew his owner. He gave his all in every event and in
2004 was the National Under Go to Ground Champion, in 2007 was Florida's Finest, with many more championships in racing and go to ground throughout the years.I always thought that he would be one of my dogs that would be with me for a long time, but that was not to be.
He will always be missed.
