SSJRTC is very proud of our young members. Young club members need not have their own Jack Russell--
we can always find available Jacks to play with them!
They may participate in any SSJRTC event but the classes listed below are designed especially for them.
Young club members are judged on their ability to present their dog and knowledge of the class in which they are competing.
Child's age Jan 1 applies all year.

SSJRTC Youth Wins Norah Risley Scholarship!
Joseph (Joey) Show, active SSJRTC Youth Handler, was awarded the 2008 Norah Risley Scholarship by the JRTCA.
Joey is the son of proud club members Bill and Cam Show. He is enrolled at the Tallahassee Community College
and plans to attend Embry-Riddle University to study AeroSpace Engineering and Astrophysics.
He and his beloved JRT, Spitfire, would like to go on the first manned craft to Mars!
About The Noral Risley Foundation College Scholarship Fund
The Noral Risley Foundation Foundation was created to establish a college scholarship to help cover the costs of higher education. A scholarship is awarded annually to a well-deserving high school senior or college freshman. Nonie loved and cherished the spirit of our youth. She was a big supporter of education, strongly advocating its value for our children. Help us keep her legacy alive by supporting the foundation. Any trial proceeds, personal, or corporate donations are gladly accepted and appreciated. Applications for the colege fund are available upon request and must be received back by April 1st of the year for the scholarship otherwise it will be held for the next year.
